Read on to meet Eric Yost, the owner and Executive Chef of Suburban, a farm-focused beer garden that will be opening in Spring 2017, just another exciting addition to Chester County’s finest dining destination: Eagleview Town Center!

After attending Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, Eric developed a respect for using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients while honing his skills in Cape Cod, MA. He then returned to the Philadelphia area as Sous Chef at The Gables at Chadds Ford.

In 2004, Yost moved to Florida to take a position with Tommy Bahama. In this role, he opened restaurants in Naples and Sandestin, FL and Las Vegas, NV. Returning to Philadelphia in 2008, he was hired as Executive Chef and Partner at the iconic Philadelphia restaurant White Dog Café, known for its use of locally-grown, organic produce and pasture-fed livestock.

Looking for a challenge, Yost took a position in 2011 as Personal Chef to a world renowned movie director in the Philadelphia area. In this position, he found a new passion in creating unique and creative dining experiences for private parties.

During this time, he also stayed true to his passion for local and sustainable methods by facilitating the highly-anticipated opening of Wyebrook Farm as Executive Chef. Working hands-on alongside owner Dean Carlson, he studied the process of sustainable meat farming. Yost then served and prepared Wyebrook’s own pasture-raised meats for an enticing dinner menu in a stunning outdoor setting.

Yost is thrilled to see his dream become a reality as he makes the next great impression on the restaurant scene in Eagleview Town Center. Suburban, a farm-focused beer garden, intends to bring city cuisine to the suburbs. Yost will showcase local farmers, brewers, and distillers in a unique and warm atmosphere; and feature a vibrant outdoor beer garden. His talent will add to the creation of an unparalleled experience in Chester County…your new dining destination!
